Draft · pending legal reviewThese terms govern your use of inlandpower.in and its vendor portal. By accessing or using the site you agree to them. They cover this website and our online forms only; tenders, vendor registration and any dealing with Inland Power are governed by their own tender documents and signed contracts, which prevail over anything on this site.
01Introduction
Inland Power Ltd. (“Inland Power”, “we”, “us”) operates this website to share information about our thermal, ethanol, solar and fly-ash operations and to let vendors and visitors reach the right desk. These Terms of Use set out the basis on which you may use the site.
By accessing or using inlandpower.in you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. These terms sit alongside our Privacy Policy and Accessibility Statement, which form part of them.
02Acceptable use of the site
You may use the site to learn about Inland Power, to submit genuine enquiries, and to register or participate as a vendor through the portal. In doing so you agree not to:
- use the site or its forms for any unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purpose, or to submit information you are not authorised to submit;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the vendor portal, any account, server or network connected to it, or to bypass its security;
- introduce malware, or use any automated means to scrape, overload or disrupt the site or its forms;
- copy, republish or exploit the site’s content except as permitted below or with our written consent.
We may suspend or withdraw access to the site, or to the vendor portal, where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, without affecting any tender or contractual process governed by its own documents.
03Vendor portal & accounts
Where the site lets you register or submit documents as a vendor, you are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping any credentials confidential. Registration on the portal is a preliminary step; it does not by itself create a vendor relationship, an approval, or any entitlement to be awarded work.
Empanelment, pre-qualification and award are decided through our procurement process and the applicable tender documents, and remain at our discretion subject to that process.
04Tenders & procurement
Information on this site about tenders, opportunities, specifications, quantities, dates and figures is indicative and provided for general reference only. It does not constitute an offer, an invitation to tender, or a representation on which you should rely.
Every tender and vendor dealing is governed exclusively by its own notice inviting tender (NIT), tender documents, corrigenda and any resulting contract. Where those documents differ from anything published on this website, the tender documents and the signed contract prevail.
05Intellectual property
The site and its content (text, layout, graphics, the Inland Power name and logo, and other materials) are owned by or licensed to Inland Power and are protected by law. You may view, download and print pages for your own reference or for a legitimate dealing with us.
You may not otherwise copy, reproduce, adapt, distribute or commercially exploit any part of the site, and you may not use our name or logo, without our prior written permission.
06Accuracy & availability
We take reasonable care to keep the site accurate and up to date, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Figures, capacities, statuses and dates shown are indicative and may change; some are placeholders pending confirmation. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
07Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Inland Power is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, or from reliance on any content on it, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Your dealings with us under a tender or contract are governed by that tender or contract, not by this clause.
08Third-party links & embeds
The site may link to, or embed content from, third-party sites and services (for example maps, documents or government portals). We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Following a link or using an embed is at your own risk and subject to that provider’s own terms.
09Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or matter arising out of your use of the site, are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the dispute-resolution or jurisdiction clause of any applicable tender document or contract, the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction. [Jurisdiction — Kolkata / Ranchi — to be confirmed by the client’s legal team.]
10Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The “last updated” date at the top shows when they last changed. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms; please review this page periodically.
